Hi Laura, I stumbled on your blog googling Dostoyevsky and autism *there seems to be speculation online about him potentially being Asperger's*. And you talk about writing a book on autism.
I was diagnosed recently--in mid-life--as Level 1 Autistic. I grew up in an era where unless--as a student-- you were way off the charts, autism diagnoses didnt exist.
Long story short, Ive embarked on penning *typing rather* my own autobiography and titling it "Notes From The Spectrum", after the Dostoevsky novella Notes From Underground. Mind you, I had not even read it at the time. It just sounded like a catchy title. But now, after getting into it, I'm seeing SO many qualities of autism in the character of Underground Man.
I guess what I'm saying is, don't give up on your book endeavor. It's floating around in your head 😊 I look forward to seeing what you come up with.

Thank you!
It's *so* great to hear about these successes!
Thanks, John!
